Mētrŭm — Privacy Policy

Effective: 19 May 2026 · Last updated: 19 May 2026

Mētrŭm collects nothing about you. The full app runs on your device; nothing you type, scan, or do inside the app leaves the device. The longer version is below.

1. What I collect

Nothing. Mētrŭm has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no tracking SDKs. The app does not ask for any personal information.

2. What the app stores on your device

The only thing Mētrŭm stores is your chosen interface language. It is held in ordinary local storage on your device — browser localStorage on the web, the equivalent WebView storage on iOS and Android — and never leaves that device. Clearing the app's storage removes it.

3. Network access

On the web (the progressive web app), the app's static files are served from the host where you accessed it. After the first load, the app is fully offline-capable. On iOS and Android, the entire app is bundled with the binary and makes no network requests during normal use. No verse text, scansion result, or interaction is sent anywhere.

4. Third parties

There are no third-party services, SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics providers embedded in the app.

5. Children

Mētrŭm is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.

6. Changes to this policy

If Mētrŭm ever begins handling personal data — for example, if a future feature requires sign-in — this page will be updated and the effective date will change. Existing users will not have their data collected retroactively.
